Jyotiraditya Scindia flagged off first flight from Doni Polo Airport in Itanagar

New Delhi. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Monday flagged off an Indigo flight from Itanagar to Mumbai via Kolkata. This is the first flight from the Doni Polo Airport at Hollongi in Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh. Scindia flagged off the flight from New Delhi through video conference.

Law Minister Kiren Rijiju also joined the program through video conference. Itanagar is the airline’s 75th domestic destination, said RK Singh, Principal Advisor, Indigo. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Doni Polo Airport on 19 November. This is the fourth airport in the state.
