Jharkhand: Four killed in encounter between CISF and coal thieves

Ranchi. In Jharkhand, four persons were killed and two seriously injured in an encounter between CISF and coal thieves at Benidih Main Siding of BCCL Block II area of ​​Baghmara in Dhanbad district late last night. Apart from this, two soldiers were also injured in the encounter.

The dead include Shahzada Khan, Ataula Ansari, Pritam Chauhan and Suraj Chauhan. Badal Ravani and Ramesh Ram are seriously injured in this and after first aid they were referred to RIMS. His condition is serious. At Benidih Main Siding last night, around 50 people with bikes had come to steal coal, when the coal thieves were stopped by two jawans on duty.

Meanwhile, the coal thieves opened fire on the patrolling vehicle and started pelting stones. The jawans fired six rounds for self-defense. In this, four coal thieves were killed and two others were injured. Police sent all four for postmortem and two injured to Dhanbad for treatment. The post-mortem of the four bodies was done in the presence of the magistrate.
