Jammu-Srinagar highway closed due to stones falling on roads

Srinagar. The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was closed for traffic on Tuesday due to stone pelting in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district. Officials of the traffic department said that the highway in Panthiyal area has been blocked due to falling of stones due to rain.

Officials said traffic would resume once the road was cleared. Meanwhile, the Srinagar-Leh highway has been closed due to snowfall in Zojila Pass, while the Mughal road connecting the Kashmir Valley with Poonch district of Jammu division also witnessed snowfall in Pir Ki Gali area. Due to closed.
