Big questions have been raised on the safety of air travel in the country. In recent days, there have been incidents of malfunction in the ships of many airlines of the country. While there was news of disturbances in SpiceJet’s flight going from Delhi to Nashik on Thursday morning, in the evening the news of disturbances in IndiGo’s aircraft shocked everyone.

Indigo engine started trembling in the air

An IndiGo plane going from Delhi to Udaipur on Thursday came back down after engine tremors. A senior official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that the plane has landed. DGCA will investigate the incident. This is the second such incident on Thursday when an aircraft returned to Delhi airport due to a technical snag. The A320neo aircraft of IndiGo, which was going from Delhi to Udaipur, returned after a second engine tremor during the flight, the official said. According to the official, the aircraft landed safely and has been grounded.

second incident of the day

DGCA will conduct a detailed inquiry into the incident. Earlier in the day, a SpiceJet plane had left for Nashik from Delhi. It came back midway due to a problem with ‘autopilot’. The DGCA will also investigate the incident.

SpiceJet plane returned from the way

A SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Nashik in Maharashtra returned midway on Thursday morning after a technical snag. The plane took off from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. An official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) gave this information. “The Delhi-Nashik flight of SpiceJet suffered an autopilot problem on its way on Thursday, due to which the plane returned midway,” the official said. And DGCA has also issued show cause notice to the airline. The aviation safety regulator had on July 27 ordered that the airline will operate a maximum of 50 per cent flights for eight weeks.
