Identity of 2 terrorists killed in Baramulla encounter

Srinagar. Two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists killed in an encounter in Baramulla district of North Kashmir have been identified. The police gave this information on Saturday. On the basis of intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists in Yedipora village, the police, Army and SSB started a joint cordon and search operation on Friday. Police said that the slain terrorists were identified as Yawar Shafi Bhat, a resident of Kalampora in Pulwama and Amir Hussain Bhat, a resident of Veshro, Shopian. Is.

As per police records, both were in the ranks of terrorists and had recently joined the ranks of terrorists. Both were involved in criminal cases. These include attacks on police/security forces and civilians. Police said preliminary investigation and intelligence based inputs revealed that the slain terrorists were tasked to attack the ongoing Army recruitment rally in Baramulla.
