Lord Gautam Buddha has been spreading his divine light in the sky for two and a half thousand years in the world like a shining beacon among the preachers of the world. He is revered, worthy and accepted in the world as the founder of Buddhism for nonviolent principles. Gautam Buddha of very simple nature was a seeker of a high order, who rationally refuted the evils and hypocrisy prevailing in the society in the name of faith, and simplified Ashtanga Yoga and presented it to the public in a new form. The Vipassana meditation method of Buddha, who gives the name of the Supreme Truth to God, is a very sophisticated method to free the mind from disorders. The entire emphasis of Gautam Buddha was on meditation, samadhi.

The contribution of Gautam Buddha in getting rid of the present pandas, priests, mullahs, clergymen cannot be denied. Vipassana is a scientific method, but the disciples of Buddha have created a lot of hypocrisy by presenting the opposite history in the name of Buddha. From a thorough study of Buddhist literature, it is clear that they have no relation with Mahatma Buddha and his thoughts at a distance. Mahatma Buddha did not establish any new religion throughout his life, but he remained a follower of Vedic religion throughout his life. Buddha used the Pali language and his teachings were based on Vedic teachings. Mahatma Buddha himself did not compose any book, but by compiling his main teachings, the book Dhammapada has been compiled, which has 26 chapters and 423 sermons. Pseudo-Buddhists, who run political shops in the name of Buddha, have no relation, far and wide, with the teachings of the Dhamma pada. These pseudo-Buddhists chanting the mantra of Jai Bhima should remember that no such sentence is found in any of the Buddha’s sermons. The Hindi translation of the mantra – Om Mani Padme Hum – recited by the followers of Mahatma Buddha himself – is Sat Chit Anand. In the Vedic texts also it has been said in relation to God in the same way – Omityedaksharmidam sarva tasyopavyakhyanam.

Meaning- Om is considered as the main name of God in all the Vedas.

Today’s Buddhists consider Agnihotra and Yagya to be useless, and Gayatri Mantras are considered as hypocrisy, but on the contrary Mahatma Buddha has given special importance to Agnihotra and Gayatri Mantra –

Aggihuttamukha yajna: Savitri Chhandso Mukham.

-Suttanipata Verse 569

Meaning- Agnihotra is as prominent as the mouth in the yagyas, and the mouth of the verses is Savitri i.e. Gayatri Mantra.

Mahatma Buddha while preaching in Suttanipata Verse 458 has said that the one who knows the Vedas and gets the sacrifice made, his yajna is successful, I say that. In many of his teachings, Mahatma Buddha has given special importance to Yagya etc. Pseudo-Buddhists consider it their ultimate duty to abuse Sanatan Dharma, but these mental patients may not know that Lord Buddha considered himself a follower of Sanatan Dharma –

Nahi Veren Verani Samantidh probably.

Avaren cha samanti s dhammo sanantano.

– Dhammapada Yamak Vaggo 5

That is, enmity is never pacified by enmity, it is pacified only by non-attachment, this is Sanatan Dharma.

It is clear from the study of the literature related to Buddha that Buddha followed Vedic religion throughout his life, he never founded any new religion. Yet at present the founder of Buddhism is considered to be Lord Buddha. Buddha was an absolute advocate of ideological freedom. Once, while answering a question asked by the local villagers in the garden of Kesputriya village of Kosala district near Shravasti, Buddha himself declared this – you people do not believe anything because many people believe it or believe it. Is it tradition or is it written in the Puranas or scriptures or is it saying by a very great teacher or a famous Guruji or I am saying that thing myself. Do not believe what I have said without tightening the test of your logic. Means, test my words in the same way as you take gold by heating, piercing and swallowing it tightly.

Today, this declaration of Buddha is very relevant and important, even in the age of so-called great preachers, teachers, during their discourses, during their discourses, the tendency of completely refusing to argue and debate with the audience or audience present in their meeting. It is clear from this story of his biography that he was in favor of giving complete freedom to his disciples (followers) ideologically. Buddha’s message was not to depend on anyone else, Atma Deepo Bhavah. This was the message of Buddha – Be your own Pradeep (lamp), take refuge in yourself. That is, do not be dependent on anyone, do not be dependent on his grace, be self-supporting, be self-respecting, illuminate yourself and the whole world like a lamp with your actions.

Once Anand, a favorite disciple of Buddha, asked him during a visit to the banks of the river why many people in the world worship him. To this, Tathagata replied and said – You must have worshiped, but worship is meaningless. Buddha further said – If you want to cross this river, will you sit on the bank of the river and start worshiping it, then you will cross this river? Will the other side of the river come to you by worship? No, certainly not, to cross the river one has to take the help of a boat or go by swimming. The Buddha, like other missionaries, never tried to confuse him with any miracle or supernatural powers. Hearing his chief Dhamma commander Sariputta, while visiting the jungle, in praise of him being said to be the greatest wise man in the world, Buddha lifted a handful of dry leaves from the forest and said that my knowledge is only this, but the knowledge of the world is this. It is more than all the leaves of the forest, is infinite. The Buddha openly opposed the hypocrisy of caste, varna, untouchability, human inequalities, exploitation, the slaughter and hypocrisy of innocent and innocent animals in the name of sacrifice for the sake of appeasing the so-called gods and goddesses in religious sacrifices.

He also gave respectable place in his union to Chandalikas like Prakriti, Bhangis named Subhuti, people of low caste named Svapaka, prostitutes like Sujata and Amrapali and evil dacoits named Angulimalya in their Sangha. He questioned the futility of astrology and said that there are foolish and confused people who connect human welfare with the calculation of constellations, because what will the constellations and stars do to those who are unable to make their own progress? Buddha has always considered walking on the middle path, restraint, diligence, concentration of mind as paramount. He has always given top priority to hard work, that is why his culture is also called Shramana culture. Salute to the great man of scientific and rational thinking, Lord Gautam Buddha, on his birth anniversary, who cut the root of such great, humble, superstition, hypocrisy and conservatism.
