Documentary is being made on fugitive self-proclaimed Lord Nityananda, many untold secrets will be revealed

The series titled ‘My Daughter Joins a Cult’ produced by director Naman Saraiya

A documentary series on controversial religious leader Swami Nityananda is coming soon. The series is titled ‘My Daughter Joins a Cult’. This 3 part series will showcase the realities of Swami Nityananda’s life and bring out the voices of those close to him. Many followers of Swami Nityananda will also be involved in the series.

Let us tell you that produced by director Naman Saraiya, the documentary series will have many revelations about Swami Nithyananda. It is shown how Nityananda, who calls himself Godman, fraudulently made his followers a part of Ashram and Gurukul Trust Nityananda Dhyanpeeth and exploited them.

Swami Nityananda is facing many charges ranging from rape to illegal detention of children. Several cases have also been registered against Nithyananda in this regard. In the year 2019, Nityananda fled the country from India. He has since been accused of establishing his own Hindu nation with its own flag and political system on an island near Ecuador.

In the documentary series My Daughter Joins a Cult, Nityananda’s devotees, journalists, activists and lawyers will talk about Nityananda’s life. The series will also show how Nithyananda, who was declared a fugitive, still has a tremendous fan following.

Talking about this series, director Naman Saraiya said that it is one of the most challenging and fruitful projects of his career. He mentioned that Nityananda’s devotees, victims, journalists, lawyers and policemen have played an important role in conducting a complex and detailed investigation into Nityananda’s religious movement.
