Coronavirus In Meerut: A new wave of corona infection has arrived. On Tuesday, 86 new recorded patients (corona case im meerut) have been found in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan said that 86 patients have been found in the investigation of 5016 samples. Which is double in comparison to yesterday. According to CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan, after the new 86 patients found today, the total number of infected in Meerut has reached 256. Of these, 14 patients are admitted in various hospitals. 242 patients are taking treatment in home isolation. At the same time, the health department has also come into alert mode amid the increasing cases of corona in Meerut. People are also being made aware. Only go out of the house wearing a mask.

Home isolation being done to patients

CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan (CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan) said that maximum Kovid patients are found to be less symptomatic. Due to which his home isolation is being done. He told that people who are having symptoms of simple flu. He can take rest at home after getting examined from the hospital and taking medicines. There is nothing to worry or panic in this. According to CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan, the Kovid patients who are admitted in the hospital and were suffering from other diseases, were not admitted to the hospitals due to Kovid.

CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan said that for every covid patient and the people who came in contact with them, the health department is being visited by the monitoring committee and RR teams and taking health benefits from door to door. Necessary medicine kits are being given to the patients. Kovid test and treatment is free of cost in all government hospitals. He said that the rates of admission of Kovid patients in hospitals and Kovid test, sample, X-ray MRI, HRCT have been fixed by the Uttar Pradesh government.

According to CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan, between December 3 and January 3, 2021, 2599 patients came from abroad in the district, in which 1484 have been investigated. The samples of nine have been sent to the lab for genome sequencing examination.
