BSF drives away Pakistani drone

Gurdaspur. The Border Security Force (BSF) once again thwarted the nefarious designs of drug smugglers and forced them to return the Pakistani drone that had entered the international border of Punjab.

BSF Deputy Inspector General Prabhakar Joshi said on Monday that at 9:40 pm on Sunday night, a drone from Pakistan side entered the Indian border at Chautra BOP of 58 Battalion. Flying at a height of about 400 meters. On this drone, the soldiers fired 56 rounds and forced them to flee by firing eight light bombs.They said that the drone was seen going back from the area of ​​POP Chakri around 10 o’clock.

Shri Joshi informed that BSF and Punjab Police personnel are conducting intensive searches of the entire area since night. So far no objectionable material has been found. (Language)
