Lucknow : On September 27, a grand vaccination campaign will be organized in the capital. The target of vaccination has been doubled for this Maha Abhiyan. Nodal officers will be appointed block wise in view of this Maha Vaccination Campaign. All the nodal officers will organize camps in their respective blocks.

On Thursday, an important meeting was held by District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash in the Smart City auditorium in the capital regarding Kovid vaccination, Kovid management and prevention of dengue. In the meeting, it was informed by the District Magistrate that a Maha Vaccination Camp is being organized on September 27, 2021.

The District Magistrate informed that the target of vaccination has been doubled for this campaign. All the officers in urban and rural areas should try that double the target should be met. All the people of the district should be vaccinated as soon as possible. All arrangements are being ensured in view of the Maha Vaccination Campaign.

It was directed by the District Magistrate that all the CHOs would work with the Data Entry Operator. All the staff nurses will ensure to cooperate in the portal entry along with the work of vaccination.

Vaccination of 2000 persons in urban unit

District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash set a target of immunization of 2000 persons for each urban unit in view of the upcoming Maha Vaccination Campaign and 1000 persons per cluster by doing a cluster approach in rural areas.

In the meeting, it was told by the district magistrate that every block wise 1-1 senior nodal officer has been instructed to camp in his block from tomorrow to make the upcoming grand campaign successful and to achieve double the target. Block wise nodal officers were appointed by the District Magistrate. The nominated nodal officers will ensure to camp in their respective blocks.

Vaccination will be done through schools

In the meeting, it was instructed by the District Magistrate that on the day of vaccination, all the BDOs would monitor the data entry operators of their respective blocks. So that the data entry work can be completed in time. Also directed that on September 25, training of all data entry operators should be ensured.

Abhishek Prakash said that people should be made aware about vaccination through schools also. In order to spread awareness among the parents through the schools, the District Magistrate directed that a form should be sent to the principals of all the schools. The form should be given to all the children in the school. The farm children will take them home.

Fill it up with your parents and submit it to the school. In which the parents will enter the details of how many people have been vaccinated or not in the house. Those people who have not been vaccinated, they will be called in the camp and vaccinated. Chief Development Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Additional District Magistrate East and other departmental officers were present in this meeting.
