Andhra Pradesh gets 13 new districts, instructions to start functioning of all districts from April 4

Guntur | Andhra Pradesh 13 New Districts List: The Indian state of Andhra Pradesh has got 13 new districts on Monday. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched 13 new districts through video conferencing at Tadepalli in Guntur district today. In such a situation, the total number of districts in Andhra Pradesh has now increased to 26.

Instructions to start functioning of all 13 new districts from April 4
All these 13 new districts formed by the Jagan government in Andhra Pradesh will come on the map of Andhra from April 4. Earlier, CM Jagan had directed all the officers to streamline the office allotment process of the new districts and asked them to start functioning on April 4 with all the new 13 district offices registering their presence.

New districts formed by separating these districts – Andhra Pradesh 13 New Districts List

Kakinada and Konaseema became a new district by separating from East Godavari district.
Eluru became a new district out of West Godavari district.
Palnadu and Bapatla became a new district after separating from Guntur district.
Nandyal new district was carved out of Kurnool district.
Manyam became a new district by separating from Vizianagaram.
Anakapalli and Alluri Sitarama Raju became a new district after separating from Visakhapatnam.
Annamaya became a new district after separating from Cuddapah district.
NT Rama Rao new district created by bifurcating Krishna district.
Shri Sathya Sai became a new district out of Anantapur district.
Shri Balaji became a new district out of Chittoor district.
