In such a situation, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the Hindi film Samrat Prithviraj, based on the events of history, would be tax free in the state even before its release. Yogi watched the film here in the presence of Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the director of ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ and Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar playing the lead roles in this film. After this he announced to make this film tax free in Uttar Pradesh. The associate ministers of the Yogi cabinet were also present on the occasion of the screening of this film held at Lok Bhavan.

Prithviraj Tax Free UP : The Chief Minister said that this film, which is going to be released during the Amrit Mahotsav year of Independence, gives inspiration to learn from the mistakes of the past. Yogi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started an effort to take the nation forward, the contribution of all of us is important in that. We are aiming for the next 25 years of the Amrit period, then the production of such films helps in awakening the national consciousness of the country. He said that this is a commendable effort to connect the present with the past. Yogi praised the strong performances of famous actor Akshay Kumar and actress Manushi Chhillar, who are playing the lead roles in the film.
