PM Modi wishes countrymen a Happy Independence Day

Today the whole country is immersed in the celebration of independence. This time Independence Day is even more special as we are celebrating 75th anniversary of Independence. On this historic occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the national flag for the ninth time from the Red Fort. During this, a 21-gun salute was also given, which is the 9th time.

Let us tell you that when Narendra Modi hoisted the flag as PM this morning, tight security arrangements were made around the Red Fort. Earlier, PM Modi wished the countrymen a Happy Independence Day. Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that many wishes to the countrymen on the completion of 75 years of independence. Congratulations. I extend my many congratulations to the lovers of India spread across the globe, to Indians on this nectar festival of freedom. Prime Minister Modi, while addressing the nation for the 9th time in a row, said that the youth of the country is full of aspirations and the storm of aspirations is rising in his mind, he does not want to wait anymore and fulfill the dreams of the freedom fighters and martyrs of the developed country. Wants to complete in front of you. He said that the country has waited for a long time but the young generation is no longer compelled to make the next generation wait for it. He said, “On the first day of the elixir of independence, I am seeing that the people of India are full of aspirations. Every man wants to see things change and he wants to see this change with his own eyes.”

PM Modi said that today is an opportunity to pay homage to many great men who fought for freedom and built the country after independence. There was no corner, no period in India, when the countrymen had not fought for hundreds of years against slavery, had not spent their lives, had not suffered tortures, had not made sacrifices. Today is an opportunity for all of us countrymen to bow down to every such great man, every sacrificer and sacrificer. It has been the good fortune of the country that the freedom struggle has taken many forms. There was also a form in him in which Narayan was the Guru, Swami Vivekananda, Maharishi Aurobindo, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, many such great men kept awakening the consciousness of India in every corner of India.

Further Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is the mother of democracy. Mother of Democracy. Those who have democracy in their mind, when they walk with determination, that power brings a time of crisis even for the big sultanates of the world, this Mother of Democracy. Our India has proved that we have this priceless power. In the journey of 75 years, amidst all the hopes, expectations, ups and downs, we were able to reach here with the effort of each one. Born after independence, I was the first person who got the opportunity to sing the pride of the countrymen from the Red Fort.
