However, the second report of the girl has come negative. Dr Virendra Singh has sent a health team to Kahar’s base and the surrounding area and has taken samples of the people. The genome sequencing report of the person who returned from Nigeria is yet to come.

On December 13, there was a stir in the health department after the RTPCR report of a 28-year-old girl resident of Lal Kothi Kaharon area of ​​Kotwali area from USA and a 45-year-old man from Anand Nagar, who came from Nigeria, came positive.

After the RTPCR test came out positive, now the sample was sent from Delhi’s lab for genome sequencing test to find out the stain of the virus. Omicron variant was found in the genome sequencing of the girl today. Both the patients are still home isolated. There are only three cases of corona in the district so far, while the report of 4448 people is yet to come.

CMO Dr Singh told that the sampling was done on 13 December. On its basis, the Omicron variant was found, but in the sample sent on December 19, the report has come negative, at present the girl has been home isolated.
