Tokyo / New Delhi | Modi Biden Meeting : On the second day of his 3-day visit, PM Modi had a bilateral meeting with US President Joseph R. Biden. During this, both the leaders shared their views and appreciated the steps taken together with each other with an open platform. PM Modi has termed the partnership and friendship ties of both the countries as a ‘force of good’ for global peace and stability and welfare of humanity. The two leaders reviewed the India-US friendship and strategic partnership and discussed ways to make it more comprehensive and deep. The two leaders also discussed the latest developments in the Indian Pacific region and on the global stage. The US also conveyed its concerns to India about the Russo-Ukraine war.

He termed the India-US strategic partnership as a partnership of trust and confidence in the true sense and said that our shared values, and our common interests in many areas, including security, have strengthened this bond of trust and trust. Modi Biden Meeting : The Prime Minister said that the trade and investment between India and America is also expanding continuously. However, it is still far less than our capacity. He expressed confidence that the India-US Investment Incentive Agreement will see concrete progress in the direction of investment. He said that we are increasing our bilateral cooperation in the field of technology, and also strengthening mutual coordination on global issues. We both share a similar vision of the Indo-Pacific region and are working to safeguard our shared values and common interests not only at the bilateral level but also with other like-minded countries. PM Modi said that I am confident that the friendship of India and America, global peace and stability, will continue to be a force of good for the continuity of the earth and the welfare of mankind.
