When will Operation Lotus happen in Jharkhand?

It is a million dollar question that when will the story of Maharashtra be repeated in Jharkhand? It is known to all that preparations for Operation Lotus are underway and there was a dress rehearsal for the same campaign, under which 10 MLAs cross-voted in the presidential election. Congress is giving it another look. In informal conversation, Congress leaders are saying that there are many women legislators in the party who voted for the female presidential candidate, it is also being said that the tribal legislators voted for the first tribal president. These reasons have their place but it is here that the Congress MLAs did cross voting at the behest of the BJP.

That’s when the activities in Jharkhand have intensified after the presidential election. Every day there is talk of MLAs going to Guwahati, even then there is a discussion about the news of MLAs’ mobile being switched off. According to informed sources, the importance of Guwahati has increased after the success of Maharashtra’s campaign. That’s when there is talk of Congress MLAs from Jharkhand going to Guwahati. According to sources, at least two MLAs have visited Guwahati. In this, one is a Muslim MLA and the other is an MLA who has won from a highly Christian, tribal-dominated seat. Needless to say whom he met in Assam.

It is being told that a Union Minister in Delhi and a Chief Minister of the Northeast are handling this campaign. After the failure of the leaders of Maharashtra and Rajasthan, the new team is engaged in this work. According to sources, one of the chief ministerial candidates, Babulal Marandi had also come to Delhi along with an MLA and met top party leaders. In fact, his team is promoting the most that Operation Lotus is going to happen in Jharkhand. But the problem is that the number of 12 MLAs required for partition in the Congress is not being met. Every time one or two MLAs are getting less.

It seems that the party high command is directly monitoring the matter. The way Shiv Sena rebel Eknath Shinde was in direct contact with top BJP leaders in Maharashtra, similarly Congress rebels in Jharkhand are in direct contact with the high command through a special source. Most of the state BJP leaders have no idea what is happening. Everyone is kicking hands and feet in the dark. Apart from the Congress MLAs, the party high command is also in touch with two-three other MLAs through people of their trust. Keep in mind that even after meeting 26 MLAs of BJP and two of its ally AJSU with 12 MLAs of Congress, the figure remains one less than the majority. Hence the need for additional MLAs.
