Is ‘Pakball’ Becoming A Reality? Fans Elated After Pakistan ‘Bazball’ Sri Lanka On Day 1 Of 2nd Test

PAKISTAN are currently up against Sri Lanka in the second Test match of the two-match series. Pakistan won the first Test by 4 wickets. They put themselves in a commanding position on Day 1 of the second Test. Pakistan bowled out Sri Lanka for 166 before scoring 145 runs in 28.3 at a run rate of over 5.

The Babar Azam-led side knocked off the first 100 runs in just 16.4 overs. Shan Masood was out early but Abdullah Shafique (74 off 99) and Shan Masood (51 off 47) kept the visitors afloat.

Pakistan’s aggressive batting in the second Test has given birth to a new term ‘Pakball’. The word draws similarity from England’s ‘Bazball’ which came into existence when Brendon McCullum was appointed the England coach and he transformed the team into a ruthless unit that played fearless cricket and scored runs at a high run rate.

The fans are going crazy over this new approach of the Pakistan team. Even veteran pacer Shoaib Akhtar took notice of the same and wondered if Pakball is turning into reality.
