Dehradun. In Uttarakhand, the Bharatiya Janata Party has expelled Vinod Arya from the party. The party has taken this step after the arrest of Pulkit Arya, son of Vinod Arya, for the murder of a female receptionist. The BJP also expelled the brother of the accused from the party.
It is noteworthy that on Saturday morning, the missing receptionist of the resort, Ankita’s cheela was recovered from the canal. The resort, which was illegally constructed by the son of a BJP leader in Yamkeshwar block of Pauri district, was demolished on Friday.
Pulkit Arya, resort manager Saurabh Bhaskar and assistant manager Ankit Gupta were arrested on Friday after admitting to the crime of killing the girl and dumping the body in the Chila canal. (Language)
