Uttarakhand News: Corona positives of seven police personnel who came on VIP duty for the arrival of President Ram Nath Kovind at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand have been found. This caused a stir in the police and administration. All the policemen were sent back to their districts in a hurry. Everyone has been instructed to remain in home isolation for the next 14 days.

On Saturday, before VIP duty, 250 policemen of Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Dehradun, Tehri and Pauri were tested for corona at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Seven policemen were found corona infected in these on Sunday morning. After this, there was panic among the police and administrative officials. Thankfully none of these policemen reached on duty.

Kovid Nodal Officer Dr. Rajiv Kumar of Yamkeshwar Block said that the corona infected include two from Chamoli, two from Rudraprayag, two from Dehradun and one policeman from Pauri. He told that on Sunday morning the police department was informed about the infection of the jawans. The department sent the infected jawans back on duty.

People who came in contact with policemen will be identified

Corona infected policemen were staying at Parmarth Niketan. During this, many policemen and employees of the ashram came in contact with these policemen. The Health Department has started preparing a list of policemen and employees who came in contact with the infected jawans. Corona test will be done for all the people who came in contact. At the same time, people who came in contact will remain in home isolation till the investigation report comes.

They were present in the program

Many policemen and ashram employees who came in contact with Corona infected policemen were present during the program of President Ram Nath Kovind. In such a situation, if a policeman or employee is found infected, then there is a possibility of spreading the infection on a large scale. Governor, cabinet ministers, administrative and police officers were present in the program.
