New Delhi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has told Russia and Ukraine that the use of nuclear weapons is against humanity, amid fears of the use of nuclear weapons in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu spoke to Rajnath Singh over phone on Wednesday. He informed Rajnath Singh about the conflict with Ukraine.
They also discussed in detail the various dimensions of bilateral defense cooperation. Both the leaders also expressed concern over the deteriorating situation in the military conflict. The Russian Defense Minister also raised the issue of fears of alleged dirty bomb use by Ukraine. Rajnath Singh emphasized the use of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve conflicts. He said that neither side should use nuclear or radioactive weapons as it is against humanity. (talk)
