UP Yoddha reached top 4 by defeating Telugu Titans, Pardeep Narwal completed 62nd Super 10

Pro Kabaddi league Season 8, UP Yoddha vs Telugu Titans, UP Yoddha defeated Telugu Titans 38-33 in the 56th match of Pro Kabaddi League season 8 played at Sheraton Grand Whitefield in Bangalore on Saturday. The wait for the victory of Titans did not end in this match. With this victory, UP Yoddha has moved to the fourth position in the points table. In this match Pardeep Narwal completed Super 10, while Nitesh Kumar made 7 successful tackles. Ankit Beniwal and Rajneesh secured 9-9 marks for Telugu. Shrikant Jadhav and Surender Gill scored 7-7 points for UP Yoddha. In this match, the UP Yoddha’s defense performed brilliantly and the raiders secured many important points relying on the bonus.

Titans trapped in the defense of Captain Nitesh

UP Yoddha won the toss and Rohit Kumar came to the Titans for the first raid. Pardeep Narwal has already opened the account of the match by taking points in the raid. The raiders of Telugu Titans played well and took a two point lead against the Warriors. Pardeep Narwal took the lead by dismissing Ankit Beniwal. The raiders of Titans were consistently successful in getting the bonus. Tackling Rakesh Gowda, UP Yoddha took Telugu all out and took a 13-10 lead. Sumit Sangwan got his 100th tackle point by tackling Rajnish. Both teams had scored equal points in raids but UP was ahead in tackles and at the end of the first half, the warriors were ahead 19-14. Sandeep Kandola had given Telugu excellent points in the defence.

Pardeep gave victory to UP in the last moments

In the second half, Telugu reduced the lead of the warriors by taking two consecutive points. After this UP Yoddha’s defense showed a great game and Nitesh Kumar completed his high-5. On the other hand Ashu Singh and Sumit Sangwan succeeded in stopping the Telugu raiders. Last 10 minutes of play was left and UP was leading 27-22. Ankit Beniwal dismissed Pardeep Narwal, then got two points in the Do or Die raid and brought Telugu almost on par. But Shrikant Jadhav took three points in the same raid to lead 30-27. After this, Jadhav strengthened the lead of the warriors by making a super tackle. Surender Gill was tackled by Rakesh Gowda and gave Telugu another point. In the last moments of the match, Pardeep completed his Super 10 with two consecutive points and fixed the victory of UP.
