Under-19 World Cup 2022: 2022 is going to be special for Indian cricket fans. This year people will see India’s senior and junior team thrashing in many big tournaments. Apart from the T20 World Cup in Australia, India’s junior team will also show strength in the Under-19 World Cup in the West Indies. The ICC has released the schedule regarding the Under-19 World Cup. The Under-19 World Cup will be played from 14 January 2022 to 5 February 2022. India is in Group B
According to the schedule released by the ICC regarding the Under-19 World Cup, Team India is in the B group. There are also teams from South Africa, Ireland and Uganda in this group. India’s first group match will be against South Africa on 15 January. After this, the team will take on Ireland on 19 January. On January 22, India’s team will face Uganda.
Other groups and teams are as follows
Bangladesh, England, Canada and the United Arab Emirates have been placed in Group A. Group C will have teams from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and Papua New Guinea. Australia, Sri Lanka, Scotland and West Indies are in Group D. New Zealand’s team is not participating in this World Cup due to quarantine rules.
War will last for 23 days
Trinidad and Tobago, St. Kitts and Nevis, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda are organizing this World Cup. In this tournament lasting 23 days, 2 teams from each group will make it to the Super League, while the rest of the teams will play in the plate category. A total of 48 matches will be played between 16 teams. The first semi-final match will be played on 1 February 2022, the second semi-final on 2 February 2022. The final match will be held on 5 February 2022.
