Two PFI members arrested from Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr. The Lucknow unit of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh Police raided the bases of the radical Islamic organization PFI in Bulandshahr and arrested two of its members. According to reports, the Lucknow ATS team along with the local police carried out this action on Tuesday.

However, according to information received from unconfirmed sources, the ATS has detained about two dozen people from the Siana area of ​​Bulandshahr for questioning in this action. District police spokesman said that the ATS raided the house of PFI member Khaliq Ansari at 4 am at Mohalla Uparkot in Bulandshahr City Kotwali area and took Khalik into custody. All mobile phones and documents belonging to Khaliq’s family have also been confiscated by the ATS. Khaliq Ansari has also been the city president of the Samajwadi Party (SP). At present, he is said to be an active member of MP Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM and Bharatiya Kisan Union. Khaliq also has a school called Green Field.

Meanwhile, his family members claim that Khaliq Ansari had joined PFI four months ago and resigned from the membership of PFI a month later. The family claims that a large number of police forces took Khaliq Ansari with them. ATS also arrested a person named Afzal in Mohalla Chaudhriyan of Sayana.
