A few days ago, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, after holding a meeting with the state governments, had told that from November a campaign would be launched in the districts of every state, in which people would be motivated to get Kovid-19 vaccination. This campaign will be started in villages of 40 districts.

Let us tell you that the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with 40 DMs regarding this campaign. In this meeting, DMs of 40 slow-paced districts of Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and other states will attend.

What is “Har Ghar Dastak” campaign?

According to the Union Health Ministry, in the districts where poor performance of Corona Vaccination is found, people will be motivated to go door to door for Kovid-19 vaccination in those districts. The name of this campaign will be “Har Ghar Dastak”. In this campaign, the medical team will knock every house. To make people aware about the vaccine. People who have not yet vaccinated or have not taken another dose. The medical team will have the full responsibility of delivering the vaccination to those people. For this, camps will be organized in the villages of different blocks. For this the villages will be divided into 3 parts. So that the corona protocol can be followed.

Objective of “Har Ghar Dastak” campaign

According to the ministry, the objective of the “Har Ghar Dastak” campaign is to motivate the people of the country to avoid coronavirus and get pre-vaccinated.

Corona cases in India

According to the Corona report released by the Ministry of Health on 31 October, 12,830 new corona cases have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. During this, 14,667 corona patients have been cured, while 446 people died. A total of 1,59,272 cases of corona are active in the country.

The Health Ministry has said that the recovery rate in the country is currently 98.20 percent. Active cases account for less than 1% of the total cases, which is currently the lowest at 0.46% since March 2020. The daily positivity rate (1.13%) for the last 27 days was less than 2%, while the weekly positivity rate (1.18%) for the last 37 days is less than 2%.
