Chief Minister Gehlot also included in Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo’ padyatra

Jaipur. The ruling Congress celebrated the birth anniversary of the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in a symbolic gesture in Jaipur on Monday. “India Jodo Padyatra” (Bharat Jodo Padyatra) was taken out. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also joined the yatra.

This journey was taken out from Tripolia Gate to Ram Niwas Garden in Jaipur. In this, along with Chief Minister Gehlot, Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas and many MLAs and party workers participated. Earlier, Gehlot paid floral tributes at the statue of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Gehlot paid tribute to Pandit Nehru, describing him as a skilled politician and a great thinker. Gehlot tweeted, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was not only a skilled politician but also a great thinker, visionary and builder of modern India. He laid the foundation of modern education temples like IIT, IIM, ICAR, INCOSPAR (ISRO), expanded medical facilities. For self-reliance in energy, built power stations, dams like Bhakra Nangal.
