Petro/ Diesel Price : The effect of ever-increasing petrol and diesel prices in the international markets is now being seen in every country. In India’s neighboring country Pakistan, the same government has decided to increase the prices of petroleum products by Rs 30 per liter on Thursday. This price hike came into effect from midnight. After this, petrol will get Rs 179.85 per liter, diesel Rs 174.15 per liter and kerosene Rs 155.95 per liter. Finance Minister Miftah Ismail made this announcement in a press conference here. He said that the new prices will come into effect from midnight. A day before this, talks between the Government of Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund in Qatar regarding economic assistance were inconclusive.

Situation normal in India at present

Petro/ Diesel Price : However, people in India have been given huge relief in the prices of petrol and diesel. Due to no change in the prices of petrol and diesel on Friday by the oil companies in the country, their prices are stable for five consecutive days. In the international market, the price of crude oil remains above $ 110 per barrel. According to the notification of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in Delhi on Friday is Rs 96.72 and diesel is Rs 89.62 per liter, while in Mumbai the price of petrol and diesel is Rs 111.35 and Rs 97.28 per liter respectively.

Relief given by reducing excise duty

Petro/ Diesel Price : Giving a big relief to the common man, the central government on Saturday announced a reduction in excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 8 and Rs 6 per liter respectively. Due to which the price of petrol and diesel had fallen by at least Rs 9.5 and up to Rs 7. The prices of crude oil continue to fluctuate in the international market. London Brent crude was up 0.14 percent today at $ 117.56 per barrel and US crude was up 0.09 percent at $ 114.19 per barrel.
