Ishant Sharma is one of the senior bowlers of Team India. The tall Delhi player has played 104 Tests, 14 T20Is and 80 ODIs for the Indian team since his debut in 2007 at the age of 19. Ishant Sharma had arrived sometime back in the web-series Breakfast With Champions hosted by Gaurav Kapoor.

Ishant had revealed that his kit bag was lost during his first series in Bangladesh. In the web-series Breakfast with Champions hosted by Gaurav Kapur, Ishant Sharma revealed some interesting facts about his first tour of Bangladesh in 2007. He said that he was scared to see Anil Kumble, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag in the dressing room. I was only 19 years old.

Ishant Sharma had revealed during the interview that his kit bag was lost by the airlines and he was left with only the kit, jersey and pants received from the BCCI. But his shoes were in the bag, which were lost.

He further said, “Do you know how I made my debut?. The clothes and the kit, I got from BCCI, but I had to get the shoes from Zaheer Khan. Me and his shoes are the same size. As soon as I arrived, my kit bag was lost and I was wondering how would I play? I didn’t practice because I didn’t have shoes and I went straight for the match.
