Income Tax Department made raid on minister Sameer Mahaseth house and office

Patna The Income Tax Department on Thursday simultaneously raided the premises of Bihar Ministry of Industry Sameer Mahaseth. Apart from him, IT has also cracked down on his business partner Ravi Bhushan and brother-in-law Jitendra Kumar. Sources said, he is facing charges of non-payment of tax on his income. Sameer Mahaseth is a business partner in a construction company named Sakar Construction Limited, whose office is at Son Bhawan, R-Block Square. Mahaseth said- I am waiting for the allegations leveled against us by the Income Tax officials. He did not give any details about the raid and said, once his statement is made public, then I will make a statement.

Meanwhile, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav said, BJP is afraid of 2024 Lok Sabha elections. That’s why she is raiding opposition leaders. After the formation of the new government in 2022, he was given the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry.
