When Hardik Pandya survived while being arrested during West Indies tour

Hardik Pandya Interview: Hardik Pandya, the all-rounder of the Indian cricket team, is famous for his aggressive batting, as much for his funny style off the field. Pandya had reached the popular show “Breakfast With Champions” sometime back, where he spoke candidly with the TV show’s anchor Gaurav Kapur and told many interesting anecdotes.

Pandya told about a funny anecdote that happened during India’s tour of West Indies. Pandya said, “When we went to West Indies, I was with him (Kiron Pollard) the whole time. I was walking like I am in India because I knew he would not let anything happen to me.”

However, Pollard decided to pull my leg. He called a police officer, who was actually his friend, who tried to arrest me. I knew it was a prank, but at one point, things got a little serious. I kept calm and thought I would call the Indian team and fix everything. Because I haven’t done anything wrong.

He said that, I thought it was a prank when I saw the police officer trying to call someone with the speaker on the other end holding the phone upside down. This incident actually turned out to be a prank, which was created by his friend and West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard.

The struggles that Pandya faced in the beginning of his career and how hard he worked to get to where he is today. Pandya had revealed during the interview that the hairstyle he is currently in was actually given to him by India opener Shikhar Dhawan.
