Bhuvneshwar Kumar has become a father: A new guest has come to the house of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the fast bowler of the Indian cricket team. Bhubaneshwar’s wife Nupur Nagar gave birth to a daughter on Wednesday in a hospital in Delhi. Rakesh Goyal, treasurer of Meerut District Cricket Association (MDCA), gave this information.
He said that on Wednesday, Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s wife gave birth to a daughter. At present both are completely healthy. Nupur Nagar gave birth to a daughter at 9 am on Wednesday. She was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday. Bhuvneshwar is expected to reach his residence in Meerut on Thursday. He was not present in the hospital. The couple got married on 23 November 2017 in a ceremony in Meerut. The news of their daughter’s birth came just a day after celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary.
This year has been tough for Bhuvneshwar
This year has been tough for Bhuvneshwar Kumar as a cricketer. His father passed away in May this year due to some health problems. Bhuvneshwar didn’t have anything special in the T20 World Cup as well. He made a strong comeback in the T20 series against New Zealand. He took three wickets in three matches at an impressive economy rate of 7.50 to help Rohit Sharma’s team complete a 3-0 whitewash. Bhuvneshwar played only one match in T20 World Cup. In the match against Pakistan, he gave 25 runs in three overs and could not take a single wicket.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign was also disappointing. He took only six wickets in 11 matches. Bhubaneswar’s franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) finished last in the table. The 31-year-old is not a part of the Indian Test team but is expected to return for the limited-overs series of the upcoming tour of South Africa.
