Fatehpur | UP News: A sensational case has come to light from Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Another conversion case has created a stir here. It is being told that after converting a Hindu girl who was abducted 8 months ago, she was being forcibly married. Only then the girl’s mother came to know about this and when she opposed the forced marriage, she was also beaten up.

UP News: According to the information, this whole matter is related to Satopit village of Asothar police station area. When this matter reached the police, seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police arrested two people including the Maulvi and sent them to jail. While 8 accused are still absconding in the case. On the statement of the girl’s mother, the police have started investigation by registering a case against 10 people, including Maulvi Kallu, under the sections of kidnapping, conversion, assault and insurgency.

UP News: It has also been revealed in the information that on May 8, 2022, Mansi Gupta, a resident of Hariharganj, went missing in suspicious condition. After which her mother Anjula Gupta lodged a missing report of the daughter in the police. On December 8, when the girl’s mother came to know that the accused Ansar Ahmed was conducting Nikah after forcibly converting her daughter in Sato village, the mother reached there and saw that Maulvi was teaching Nikah. When he protested, the accused thrashed him, tore his clothes and threatened to kill him.

In this regard, the Thariav police officer has to say that the girl was abducted by allurement in Asothar police station area. Then an attempt was made to marry after forced conversion. After registering a case on the complaint of the victim’s mother, the accused Ansar Ahmed and Maulvi Kallu have been sent to jail.
