According to the rating agency, from the beginning of the next financial year i.e. April 2022, the problem of chip in the global market may start to end. It is a chip equipped with an electronic circuit through which all the electronic features of the vehicle run. Earlier the vehicles were made without chips but with the passage of time changes came. Overall, it is semiconductors that have made the vehicle a moving machine and a luxury item. In today’s date, almost all the important parts of the vehicle are being controlled by the chip. In such a situation, you can guess that if the car company sells you a car without a chip, then it will not be of any use.

According to the data, the demand for passenger vehicles is increasing continuously in the country, but car companies are being forced to reduce their production.

Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai, which account for 50 per cent of the car market, saw a year-on-year decline of 36 and 27 per cent in August and September 2021. On the other hand, Maruti has decided to reduce production by 40 percent in the month of October due to the shortage of chips.
