Actually, this matter has come to light from ICICI Bank present in MIDC of Dombivli located in Thane district of Maharashtra. Where the robbers made a plan like ‘Money Heist’ web series and carried out the robbery incident on July 9. Let us tell you that this incident was carried out in collaboration with Altaf Sheikh, an employee of the bank. Altaf Shaikh was in the position of Cash Custodian Manager in the bank so he already knew everything about the security.

Altaf Sheikh along with some of his colleagues made plans exactly like the web series ‘Money Heist’. First, Altaf Shaikh disabled the bank’s alarm system on July 9, a bank holiday, as well as removed all hard disks of the CCTV footage. After this, when the alarm system was disabled, Rs 12 crore was thrown out through the air conditioning duct.

After this Altaf Shaikh himself went to the bank and told that someone had stolen the hard disk of the CCTV recording. Along with this, a report of theft of money from the bank was also filed. After this the police also started investigation. Several startling revelations came to light during the investigation.

Now Altaf Sheikh has been caught

When the police came to know that Altaf Shaikh was involved in the robbery, the Manpara police arrested Israr Qureshi, Ahmed Khan and Anuj Giri in August, but Altaf Shaikh was absconding. After which he has now been arrested from Kolhapur, and also Rs 9 crore out of 12 has also been recovered.
