Aurangabad/Mumbai, In Maharashtra, 129 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in the last 24 hours. There are 1,526 active cases of corona in the state which are being treated in many hospitals. It is a matter of relief that during this time no case of corona has been reported in eight districts of Marathwada region.
With the arrival of new cases of corona infection in the state, the number of infected has increased to 78,80,969 and the death toll remained stable at 1,47,854. After 121 people became corona free in the last 24 hours, the total number of people who got rid of this virus has increased to 77,31,588. The recovery rate in Maharashtra is 98.11 percent and the death rate is 1.87 percent.
