Woman murdered by slitting her throat in land dispute

Lucknow. A 50-year-old woman was murdered by her neighbor in a village under Gudamba police station area of ​​Lucknow. The accused fled the spot after the incident, but the police arrested him within three hours. Lucknow Deputy Commissioner of Police SM. Qasim Abidi told that this incident took place in Rajauli village. The deceased was identified as Shaheeda Banu, who was working in her farm, some distance from her home, on Sunday.

When the local people saw his slit dead body lying in the field, they informed the police about the incident. The DCP said that the accused Salimuddin lives with his family in the same village in the neighborhood of the woman. He said that the local people told the police that there was a dispute over land between Shaheeda and Salimuddin on Saturday night and some people intervened and resolved the matter. After killing Shaheeda, Salimuddin went missing from his house and was later found hiding in the nearby fields. Local people said that Salimuddin often got into disputes with the villagers. Police said that a murder case has been registered and investigation is going on in the matter.
