Star spinner Kuldeep Yadav got the command of UP, played the last international match in July

Kuldeep Yadav Appointed Captain of Uttar Pradesh Ranji Team: Out-of-favour left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav was on Wednesday appointed as the captain of the Uttar Pradesh Ranji team. Kuldeep played his last international match in July this year. He will have a chance to claim a comeback in the Indian team by performing well in the Ranji Trophy.

Chief Executive Officer of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association Deepak Sharma said that 24 players have been included in the team. Whereas Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Saurabh Kumar will be included in the team when available.

Kuldeep Yadav made his debut in international cricket in 2017. He has played seven Tests, 65 ODIs and 23 T20 Internationals for India so far. Kuldeep has 26 wickets in Tests, 107 wickets in ODIs and 23 wickets in T20 Internationals.
