Shinde’s chair till the corporation elections in Maharashtra!

Eknath Shinde has completed three months as Chief Minister. There is no record of his performance in these three months, on the contrary, the Vedanta Foxconn project has suffered a great loss of image due to the move from Maharashtra to Gujarat. From above till now nothing has been done conclusively regarding the control of Shiv Sena. The Election Commission has to decide on this. After that the municipal elections will be held. Shinde and the leaders of his camp know that Shinde’s chair is till the municipal elections. Along with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), elections will be held in big cities like Pune, Thane. By that time BJP needs Shinde.

The BJP actually has to settle the Shiv Sena through Shinde. Shinde can do this work in Mumbai and Thane. Once the Uddhav Thackeray faction ends the BMC, then it will be difficult for Shiv Sena to stand on its feet. So, Shinde has to be retained till the corporation elections and after that the BJP has to take over the reins. Informed sources say that Devendra Fadnavis is still heading the government but those close to him say that in three to six months he will again become the chief minister and Shinde will be his deputy. Shinde is also understanding this. But he is not complaining because he knows that he could never become CM if he was with Uddhav Thackeray.
