Jaipur. The Rajasthan government is doing excellent work to create a better environment for investment in the state and under this Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given various types of discounts to the units located in RIICO Industrial Area. The proposal to extend the period of grant of concessions till 31st March has been approved.
Rico Amnesty Scheme is being operated by the state government to provide exemptions to various units/establishments located in Ricoh area with the aim of providing support to industrial and related units due to COVID-19 pandemic.
RIICO Amnesty Scheme-2022 was announced by Shri Gehlot in the budget for the financial year 2022-23, which was effective till 30 September. After this, now expanding the scope of this scheme, the benefit of various exemptions and concessions will be available till March 31. With the extension of the duration of the scheme, there will be relief for various industrial organizations and new investors and better investment opportunities will be available in the state.
It is noteworthy that the State Government had organized the Invest Rajasthan Summit on October 7 and 8 in Jaipur to attract investors. In the last years, many important decisions have been taken by the state government to increase investment in the state including MSME Act, RIPS-2019, RIPS-2022, Mukhyamantri Laghu Udyog Protsahan Yojana.
