Overall, Akhilesh Yadav says that the Income Tax and GST Department had to raid the place of Pushparaj Jain, who is a perfume trader, but due to the name of both being Jain, Piyush Jain was raided. According to Akhilesh Yadav, Piyush Jain is a BJP man.

According to the report of India Today, 257 crore cash, several kilos of gold, silver have been found with Piyush Jain, apart from this 18 lockers and 500 keys have also been found in Piyush Jain’s ancestral residence in Kannauj. Documents found in the raids have revealed that he also has 16 very expensive properties. These include 4 in Kanpur, 7 in Kannauj, 2 in Mumbai and 1 in Delhi. Two properties have also been found in Dubai from Piyush Jain.
