Pakistan beat Bangladesh by eight wickets in second T20, captured the series

PAK vs BAN T20 Series: Pakistan captured the three-match series by defeating Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the second T20 match. The second match of the series was played between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Dhaka on Saturday. Batting first, Bangladesh had given a target of 109 runs to Pakistan, which Pakistan easily achieved by losing 2 wickets. In the first match too, Pakistan had registered a thumping victory by performing brilliantly. In this match, Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan took two wickets each and smashed the Bangladesh batsmen and turned the match towards Pakistan.

Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan, who came out to bat first in the match, put the Bangladesh team in a very weak position by giving two blows each. Shaheen took two wickets for 15 runs, while Shadab took two wickets for 22 runs. Bangladeshi batsmen were seen struggling in front of Pakistani bowlers and could score only 108 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Bangladesh’s seventh consecutive T20 match loss

This is the seventh consecutive defeat of Bangladeshi team in T20 matches. Bangladesh had lost all their five matches in the recently concluded T20 World Cup. The team has lost both its last matches to Pakistan. Apart from this, this is Pakistan’s 12th victory against Bangladesh. So far, there have been 14 T20 matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh, in which Pakistan has won 12 matches.

Pakistan’s performance in the World Cup was excellent

In the recently held T20 World Cup, Pakistan’s performance was excellent and they made a record by winning all their matches of Super 12. However, he had to face defeat at the hands of Australia in the semi-final match. After the World Cup, Pakistan’s team is on a tour of Bangladesh these days.
