Siwan. In Bihar, one person was killed and four others were injured after being hit by a truck in Pachrukhi police station area of Siwan district on Thursday.
Police sources said here that a speeding truck crushed a person near Gamharia village on the Siwan-Chhapra main road. The said person died in this accident. The deceased has been identified as Shiv Bachan Ram, a resident of Sonpipar village.
The truck then rammed into the e-rickshaw, injuring four people on the e-rickshaw, the sources said. The injured have been admitted to Siwan Sadar Hospital. The local people caught the truck driver and handed him over to the police after beating him up. The body has been sent for postmortem. (talk)
