Chandigarh. The dead body of a man, who seems to be around 30 years old, was found in a suitcase on Tuesday outside the railway station in Jalandhar city of Punjab. Om Prakash, Assistant Commissioner of Government Railway Police, said that on receiving the information, when the police reached the spot, a red colored suitcase was found outside the railway station. “We checked the CCTV footage and found that a man in his mid-30s was walking towards the ticket counter leaving the suitcase behind,” he said. Efforts are on to identify the accused. Preliminary investigation revealed that the suitcase was lying outside the railway station since Monday night.
