Manipal Tigers fail to make it to the playoffs

Jodhpur. Manipal Tigers’ team failed to make it to the playoffs of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) tournament despite a three-wicket win over India Capitals. Manipal also had five points on par with Gujarat Joint, but his net run rate was not better, leaving him at the bottom of the four-team tournament. The top three teams qualified for the playoffs.

Batting first, India Capitals scored 183 for two with half-centuries from Hamilton Masakadza (60 off 35 balls), Denesh Ramdin (64 off 51 balls) and Ross Taylor (51 not out from 31 balls). Scored a challenging score.

Manipal Tigers scored 186 runs for seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs. For him, former West Indies batsman Ricardo Powell scored 96 runs in 52 balls with the help of eight fours and seven sixes, while Corey Anderson scored 39 and Mohammad Kaif scored 26 runs.
