Kejriwal will make Rajkumar Anand a minister

New Delhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has finally decided to make a new minister after a minister was jailed and another minister resigned. He has announced the name of the new minister in place of the resigning minister Rajendra Pal Gautam. Patel Nagar MLA Raj Kumar Anand will be the new minister in the Kejriwal government. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself has given this information.

Chief Minister Kejriwal has sent a letter in the name of Rajkumar Anand to the Lieutenant Governor. Rajendra Pal Gautam, who is holding the Social Welfare Department in Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party government, had resigned from his post a few days ago amid allegations of allegedly inciting religious sentiments. Rajendra Pal Gautam, who was a minister, had given a statement regarding Hinduism during a religious event. There a large number of people resolved not to worship Hindu deities.

After this statement, the main opposition BJP in the state accused Rajendra Pal Gautam of insulting Hindu deities. In the presence of the minister, a video of thousands of people taking oath to not worship Ram, Krishna as God and never worship had also surfaced, after which the BJP said that it is an attempt to fight those who believe in Buddhism and Hinduism. Later, Gautam resigned as the controversy escalated and said that he did not want the party to suffer because of his statement in the Gujarat elections.
