Kanpur violence a conspiracy?

Kanpur. The Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested Hayat Zafar, the alleged mastermind of the violence in Kanpur after Friday prayers. Along with this, the police have also arrested the main accused. It is being told that in the investigation of the police, the strings of Kanpur violence are related to West Bengal and Manipur. Significantly, violence erupted in Kanpur’s Beaconganj on Friday against an objectionable statement made by a BJP spokesperson on Prophet Muhammad.

Police say that the Kanpur violence is part of a bigger conspiracy. Police say that the extremist organization Popular Front of India (PFI) had called for a market bandh in West Bengal and Manipur on June 3. On the same day, violence broke out in Kanpur over the closure of the market. According to Kanpur Police Commissioner Vijay Singh Meena, there have been indications of the Kanpur violence being the hand of PFI. Therefore, the transactions in the bank accounts of the main accused are being scrutinized.

Police have seized six mobile phones in this connection. His call details are being seen. Some important documents recovered from the accused have been sent for forensic examination. Police claim that there has been an attempt to spoil the atmosphere of Kanpur with the funding of PFI. On Saturday, Police Commissioner Vijay Singh Meena presented many details of the investigation related to Kanpur violence in front of the media. He told that the master mind of this case Hayat Zafar has been arrested. Along with this, the main accused Javed Ahmed Khan, Mohammad Rahin and Mohammad Sufiyan have also been apprehended.

It is being told that after the violence, the main accused had fled from Kanpur. The accused Javed runs a YouTube channel, whose office is in Hazratganj, Lucknow. He was hiding with his companions in this safe house. From there he was caught. The police have told that action will be taken against those who spoil the atmosphere of Kanpur under the National Security Act and the Gangster Act. The police produced the four main accused in the court and appealed for remand but the court sent them to judicial custody i.e. jail.
