Amit Shah attack on JP’s birth anniversary

Chhapra. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in Sitabdiara, the birthplace of Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan, on Tuesday that youth power will be attained only if the principles of JP are kept alive. He said that the leaders who sat on the lap of the Congress which JP opposed, should get a big message from here today.

Addressing a public meeting organized on the occasion of JP’s birth anniversary, the Home Minister said that there are many people who came out of JP’s movement, who did politics in the name of JP and Lohia throughout their lives, but today they are sitting in the lap of Congress. . Without taking the name of Nitish Kumar, he said that today the five-times changer has made friends with the same Congress for the chair, which JP opposed throughout his life. He said that now the people of Bihar will have to decide whether they want BJP or an alliance coming together for power.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that after the independence of the country, the Congress fought for the Emergency. Shah said that Jayaprakash Narayan’s biggest contribution was when he launched a massive movement against corruption and against a drunken government in power that imposed Emergency in the 70s. He said that this revolution was started by JP from Gujarat, after that there was a change of power there. After this he reached Bihar and united everyone here. He said that during that time the Congress, which was crushed in power, imposed Emergency. During this movement many leaders including JP were forcibly imprisoned.

Shah said that the campaign started by JP against government corruption and dictatorship in the country, we are continuing till today. He said that the government which is running under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is moving ahead on the principles of JP. Shah began his address with the slogan ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. But when the people sitting in front raised the same slogan, Amit Shah said that such voice will not work. He said that the slogan should be raised so loudly that leaving behind the principles of JP, the veins of the people sitting in the lap of Congress shiver. (IANS)
