IND Vs ENG: The fourth match of the five-Test series between India and England is going to start from September 2. After the victory of Leeds, hosts England can rest their main fast bowler James Anderson from the fourth Test. England coach Silverwood has indicated this.

Due to the long series, England is thinking of resting Anderson. Silverwood said on Anderson and Ollie Robinson’s workload, “I don’t want to give them a break. We have a lot of cricket ahead of us. Tests are getting faster now and getting more frequent is getting harder.”

With three Test matches in the span of three weeks, both the teams are being forced to rotate the bowlers. India has taken a clear stand in this regard while England can also follow the same path. Silverwood further said, “These players are giving their everything. Every day when we come out of the field, we think that we should do something for them. But I am not able to take any decision at the moment.”

Anderson wants to play all matches

Anderson, however, made it clear that he wants to play every match of the Test series. Silverwood admitted that it would be difficult to convince Anderson to keep him out of the fourth Test. The problem for England is that another of its bowlers, Sam Karen, is not able to perform well.

For England, however, the fit of fast bowler Mark Wood is news of relief. Mark Wood can be seen replacing Anderson in the playing 11 in the fourth Test. England, however, will announce their playing 11 just before the toss.
