Salary and allowances approved in 27 municipalities of Rajasthan

Jaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal of grant for payment of salary and allowances of sanctioned posts in 27 newly formed municipalities. In these municipalities, 243 posts have been sanctioned including nine posts of different categories each.

According to the proposal, the newly formed municipalities for the financial year 2022-23 are Govindgarh (Alwar), Kotkasim (Alwar), Bardod (Alwar), Borawar (Nagaur), Rishabhdev (Udaipur), Dhariyavad (Pratapgarh), Jayal (Nagaur), Siwana (Barmer). ), Neemrana (Alwar), Tapukra (Alwar), Khajuwala (Bikaner), Mandawar (Mahwa-Dausa), Basni (Nagaur), Marwar Junction (Pali), Tibbi (Hanumangarh), Dataramgarh (Sikar), Bauli (Sawaimadhopur), Hammirgarh (Bhilwara), Raniwada (Jalore), Balesar Satta (Jodhpur), Gudha (Udaipurwati), Baroda Meo (Alwar), Ajitgarh (Sikar), Naraina (Narayana Jaipur), Semari (Khairwara-Udaipur), Manoharpur (Jaipur), A provision has been made to sanction Rs 42.55 crore (Rs 1.57 crore per municipality) for the salary and allowances of the sanctioned posts in Bahadurpur (Kishangarhbas-Alwar).

This amount has been approved as a one-time grant on the basis of gap funding, adjusting the personal income of the concerned body along with octroi recharge grant. With the above provision, salary and allowances will be paid for the sanctioned posts in the newly formed municipalities. It is noteworthy that in the budget of the year 2022-23, the Chief Minister had made an announcement regarding the salary and allowances of the employees of the urban bodies of the state. (talk)
