India Pakistan match today

New Delhi, The biggest match of the T20 World Cup is to be played on Sunday. India and Pakistan are to meet on Sunday at Melbourne in Australia. However, it is raining heavily in Melbourne on Saturday, a day before the match. If the rain continues, then the hopes of crores of viewers of both the countries will be dashed. There, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert of mini flood i.e. flooding due to heavy rains.

Till now the match figures in the World Cup were in India’s favor but last year Pakistan defeated India. It was India’s first defeat in any World Cup. Apart from that, in the last one year, there have been three matches between the two teams and the Pakistan team has won twice. Because of this there is pressure on the Indian team.

However, due to rain, the Indian team had to practice indoor on Saturday. Both India and Pakistan teams are worried about the rain as there is no reserve day in this T20 World Cup. That is, if the match is washed out in rain, then there will be no match again and one point will be divided between the two teams. This could mess up the score for reaching the semi-finals. South Africa, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Netherlands are in Group B of India-Pakistan. Only two teams out of six have to make it to the last four i.e. semi-file.
