India A vs South Africa A Unofficial Test: In the ongoing unofficial Test match between India and South Africa A teams, the first day was very bad for the Indian players. South Africa scored 343 for the loss of just 3 wickets on the first day, thanks to centuries from South African opener Peter Malan and middle-order batsman Tony De Georgi.

216 runs partnership between Malan and Georgi
Indian bowlers started very well but they could not carry it forward. Fast bowlers Navdeep Saini and Nagwaswala dropped 2 wickets for South Africa within 14 runs. Sarel Irvi and Renard Van Tonder went on to get out for naught but the 216-run partnership between Peter Malan and Tony de Georgie left the Indian bowlers completely exhausted. Along with him, Jason Smith also remained unbeaten after scoring 51 runs. There has also been a 112-run partnership for the fourth wicket between the South African players.
